Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club located in Boca Raton was created in 1959 and is located in between the Boca Raton Resort, the Intracoastal waterway, the Hillsboro River, and Federal Highway. Royal Palm Country Club had some of the most stringent building codes back then including requiring all white roofs, underground utilities, and a lot size much larger then similar communities. The Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club golf course was originally designed by Robert Trent Sr., and later modified by Jack Nicklaus in 2002.
The Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club is Boca Raton's most elite country club community and is one of a very few private, invitation only country clubs in the area. Offering a lifestyle complete with a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, marina just minutes to the ocean, beautiful clubhouse with an assortment of activities and amenities, as well as everything you would expect from a top notch country club facility in Palm Beach Florida.
To become a member at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club, sponsorship is required by two of the Club's Founder Members. Letters of recommendation are required, and the Membership Committee then interviews the Sponsors and the candidate. This then goes under review by the Board of Governors and the approval is complete.
There are four types of membership; Golf Membership, Social/Marina Membership, Junior Membership, and Legacy Membership.
Royal Palm Yacht Club Homes offer 3 types of homes; Interior homes, Golf Course Homes, and Waterfront Homes. As the club has grown, older homes have been torn down, building codes have changed, and Royal Palm Yacht Club now offers new custom estate homes with Mediterranean style architecture, large estates with personality, elegance, and beauty.
