Palm Beach County new construction homes in 2013 increased immensely with more new homes getting built and sold. The Royal Palm Beach based MetroStudy shows 2,053 new homes started construction in 2013 which is a 13 percent increase from 2012.

The new home construction median price was $600,000 which was an 11% increase from 2012. The national median sales price was $265,800 which is $245,2000 up from the previous year. David Cobb, the regional director of MetroStudy South Florida told the Palm Beach Post,"In 2013, we"re talking about the best numbers we've seen in six or seven years.

Speaking of new construction in Palm Beach Florida, Palm Beach Gardens just approved a new community in Palm Beach Gardens. The Kolter Group just received approval for a 24 Palm Beach Gardens home project called Gardenia Isles. This 24 home project is located on 10 acres and will be a mix of Mediterranean and Tuscan Style architecture. The location will be the Northwest corner of Military Trail and Gardenia Drive. Gardenia Isles will be a gated community with tile roofs, decorative shutters, and rounded windows.
